Startup

   All the programs in the bottom right corner of the screen uses up resources, slowing the computer down.
This guide will show you how to stop some of the programs from starting up when the computer is switched on.

Step 1

1. Click on Start > Run.

 

Step 2

2. Type msconfig and click OK.

 

Step 3

3. Wait for the Utility to load. Click on Startup at the top.

 

Step 4

4. This will list all the startup programs.
Please be very careful as you can prevent essential programs from working, such as Antivirus scanner.
Untick the program(s) you wish to disable and click OK.

 

Step 5

5. Click Restart.

 

Step 6

6. When the Computer restarts, the above menu will pop up.
Tick the box and click OK.
When the Utility loads, click Cancel.
